Poland’s Kamil Majchrzak showed flutters in some performances last year of returning to the form that saw him break the ATP top 100 in 2019 but a 13-26 record for 2021 is poor overall. The 25-year-old is one of those caught between the Challenger circuit and the tour but he should have more than enough for Greece’s Michail Pervolarakis who is currently ranked just inside the top 400. The 25-year-old has lost each of his five previous ATP Cup fixtures as second option to Stefanos Tsitsipas and there is little to suggest anything different will happen here. Pervolarakis is capable of taking a set here, though, so taking Majchrzak to win outright seems the sensible pick.
