THE PREDICTION
Montpellier were thrashed away at Exeter Chiefs in their first Champions Cup fixture earlier this month but then lucked out with a default victory over Leinster after their opponents were forced to concede. They beat Biarritz 12-27 on Monday to move within two points of Top 14 leaders Bordeaux, albeit with a game in-hand, and they will likely have to keep chasing both the current leaders and Toulouse in second place with both sides playing before them this weekend. Travelling Toulon are improving now after a rough start to the new season and they are unbeaten in three matches across all competitions. This could be a tight match that comes under 40 points and that might be worth taking as an alternative to the result, although on form Montpellier should be able to cover -4 in victory.
