Castres were shut out away at league leaders Toulouse in a crushing 41-0 defeat last Saturday. They remain strong for the season as a whole as they currently occupy sixth place after eight matches played and they will do well to write off last weekend as a bad day at the office against the very best. They have an unbeaten record at home to defend having won three and drawn one of their four matches here so far and travelling Brive have lost each of their four matches on the road after a poor 37-9 loss at Biarritz last Saturday. This looks a fairly solid win for the hosts, then, with Castres well capable of covering at least -10 as they did against Toulon and Biarritz.
