THE PREDICTION

Just one point separated second-placed Harlequins from third-placed Saracens ahead of this weekend’s fixtures as the two sides best-equipped to challenge Leicester Tigers’ so far perfect start to the season. Reigning champions Harlequins became the latest side to beat a sorry Bath outfit with a 31-17 victory at home last Saturday, bouncing straight back from their close defeat at Sale the week before. Travelling Saracens have been incredible in recent weeks, though, with three heavy wins in a row since they lost at the death to Leicester at the start of the month. Sarries have covered -44 and -41 in their last two victories over Bath and most recently Wasps and their offence clicking into a sumptuous gear makes this look a very tough ask for Quins. In what should be the match of the weekend despiet the departure of some international stars, taking Sarries to win outright seems a suitably cautious move.
