THE PREDICTION

Gloucester raced to a 12-23 half-tim lead away at Wasps last Friday and then held on masterfully to win a ding-dong battle 33-35 for a third-straight win across all competitions. After a slow start to the season with back-to-back defeats to Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers, they have only lost to Exeter Chiefs 13-16 in their last six Premiership matches. The return of Louis Rees-Zammit to the starting line-up is a welcome one and they will be confident of coming out on top of what could be another tight match. Travelling Bristol Bears lost 20-36 at home to Northampton Saints last Friday and they still look a little shaky after some good work was put in to amend a terrible start to their season. They can welcome back Semi Radrada from the bench after a long injury lay-off but taking the hosts to win outright here seems the way this Friday night fixture edges.
