THE PREDICTION
Both these sides lost their opening two matches in the European Challenge Cup, with Castres most recently losing at home to high-flying Newcastle Falcons and Brive putting in a poor home display in a 16-18 loss to Zebre. Back to domestic action they will be hoping to bounce back here but although just a point separates them, Castre’s game in-hand, one place as they are above Brive, looks like a damaging one for the visitors’ confidence. The hosts were not totally outplayed by their Premiership opponents last weekend and they can take some positives into this winnable home fixture against a struggling Brive side. Castres will be aiming to cover at least -10 and should do so to make some real ground in the league table.
