- Sydney Roosters got off to a great start in their quest to make it three straight wins but the game turned when Siosiua Taukeiaho was shown a yellow card midway through the first half and the Tricolours never recovered.

- Melbourne Storm were in sensational form as they hammered Wests Tigers last time out thanks to an early blitz in which saw them run out to a 30-0 lead with just 17 minutes on the clock.
- The Storm were ruthless as they amassed 66 points in the one-sided affair to make it 12 consecutive victories and they will now go in search of a fourth successive win over rivals Sydney Roosters.
THE PREDICTION
Melbourne Storm will look to strengthen their grip on the minor
premiership as they take on Sydney Roosters at McDonald Jones Stadium.
The Roosters have had to surrender home advantage owing to an outbreak
of COVID-19 in the Sydney area and with the Storm in such good form, it
will make their task even harder. The Tricolours will be hoping to catch
their opponents off guard following a week off for State of Origin but
that is unlikely to be the case with Melbourne able to make it a superb
13 straight wins in this one.
