- St. George Illawarra Dragons produced a strong fightback against Canberra Raiders last time out with that result ensuring that they maintained their spot in the top eight but this is another game they need to win with the chasing pack not too far away.

New Zealand Warriors still have aspirations of forcing their way into
the top eight but they must find a way to end their recent poor run of
form having lost five of their last six matches. Their lack of
consistency has been an issue all year and they now come into this clash
with St. George Illawarra Dragons without boom rookie Reece Walsh after
he was injured in Queensland’s State of Origin camp. The Dragons have
won two of their last three and with their list of unavailable players
shrinking by the week, St. George should be able to shade this one.
