A second successive wooden spoon could be on the cards for Brisbane
Broncos unless they improve drastically in the second half of the
season. They have managed just three wins from 14 games so far and come
into this clash with South Sydney Rabbitohs on the back of three
consecutive losses. The Rabbits on the other hand have won back-to-back
matches after they saw off Newcastle Knights last week. The Broncos have
conceded 436 points so far this season which is the most in the NRL and
with Souths boasting plenty of attacking talent, it would be a surprise
if the away side failed to win by at least 14 points.
