Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad Prediction

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid continued their unconvincing but still effective season at the weekend as they came from 2-1 down in a Madrid derby to defeat Leganes by three goals to two courtesy of second-half strikes from Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe. They aren’t fluent and they aren’t dominant but they do keep winning, once again.

They now face a Real Sociedad side that have endured a very difficult campaign with the pressure growing on Imanol Aguacil. However, La Real did manage to defeat struggling bottom-of-the-table Real Valladolid by two goals to one in San Sebastian at the weekend thanks to goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Sergio Gomez.

Madrid won the first-leg by a goal to nil in the Basque Country in late-February and Ancelotti’s men, chasing the treble, will be expected to confirm their spot in this season’s Copa del Rey final.

Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad Tip: Real Madrid to win
