INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
- Indianapolis ended their four-match losing streak as they came out on top of their clash with Carolina after a convincing victory and they will hope to end the season on a high as they travel to AFC South rivals Jacksonville.
- Colts guard Quenton Nelson suffered a concussion in last week's encounter and he is questionable to feature in this contest although a limited practice at Thursday’s session is a promising sign.
- Five players were held out on Thursday for the Colts although a return to full practice for linebacker Darius Leonard is a good sign and his availability on Sunday will be important for the Colts’ chances.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
- Jacksonville failed to build on their win over Oakland as they struggled on offense against Atlanta to fall to 5-10 for the season with that loss ensuring that the Jaguars will finish in last place in the AFC South.
- Jaguars wide receiver D.J. Chark was able to return to the team last week after an ankle injury but he was held to just 18 yards from two receptions and he will be hoping for better in his final appearance of a productive season.
- Despite appearing on the injury report as a limited participant on Wednesday, Jacksonville running back Leonard Fournette was downgraded on Thursday due to a neck issue and he looks doubtful to play on Sunday unless he makes a quick recovery.
THE PREDICTION
Jacksonville have endured a poor year and despite winning in Week 15, they could not make it back-to-back wins. They will host AFC South rivals Indianapolis in the final match of the season for both teams but, with the Colts winning big last week, they should be able to back that up with another to send them into next season on a high.
