MARCUS MCGHEE VS JOURNEY NEWSON PREDICTION

Marcus McGhee (6-1-0) is a late stand-in for Brian Kelleher in this bout to face Journey Newson (10-4-0). McGhee has won his last two fights with all six of his victories to date occurring by KO. He is a powerful fighter and will pose a threat to Newson who will need to be wary of getting caught with a big shot. Newson has struggled of late with four losses in his last six fights, losing by unanimous decision to Sergei Morozov last time out. Two of his four losses have also come by way of KO and that could play into McGhee’s hands with the underdog capable of springing a surprise on his last-minute foray into the octagon.
