Ketlen Souza (13-4) heads to the Apex hoping to respond after a humbling UFC debut. She made her entrance in June last year off the back off five straight wins including a unanimous decision over Kristina Williams to capture the vacant Invicta flyweight title. She made her debut five months later in June last year and got humbled by Karine Silva who locked up an armbar in the first round.
The octagon has not been kind for Marnic Mann (6-2). She got head kick KO’d by Bruna Brasil on the Contender Series back in September. After choking that audition, she headed back to LFA and earnt a unanimous decision over Amber Brown. That led to getting another opportunity on the big stage and met Josefine Lindgren Knutsson for her debut last year. Unfortunately for her, she suffered her second loss which was a unanimous decision.

Both fighters have a lot to prove as they search for their first UFC win. We hope they will not be hesitant under the pressure as stylistically, this should be a fun scrap.
Mann is undersized for the division and will be giving up three inches in height to the 5’3” Brazilian. That will not stop her from pressing the action and she will try and mix in her grappling with her strikes.
Although, Souza got mauled in her last fight, it was against Silva who has fought up at bantamweight and is just more skilled than Mann. She has the ability to take Mann down and on paper should win the striking exchanges.
We are backing Souza, but considering the odds, Mann is worth a punt.
