Jannik Sinner vs Pedro Martinez prediction

Jannik Sinner breezed through his second-round match at Wimbledon as he thrashed Aleksandar Vukic 6-1 6-1 6-3 in just one hour and 40 minutes. It’s been serene progress for the Italian so far who hasn’t been broken in either of his first two matches of the tournament. 

He now faces Pedro Martinez in round three. The Spaniard made the third-round here for the first time in four years after beating Mariano Navone in three close sets. Martinez broke crucially at the end of the first two sets and then won the third on a tiebreak to win 7-5 7-5 7-6 against the Argentinian.

Sinner leads the head-to-head 1-0, having beaten Martinez in straight sets in the second-round of the Italian Open three years ago. Sinner has been imperious so far and we can’t see Martinez offering much resistance in this one. It is likely to be another comfortable victory for the three-time Grand Slam champion.
