Ireland vs United States prediction
Ireland will have been so disappointed at falling short vs Scotland after such a promising first round campaign, despite them not finishing top two of their pool. They’ll need to vastly improve from an attacking point of view and a more aggressive showing from the Irish is expected against USA with bodies being given license to push forward whenever they can.
USA should get chances themselves though the longer this match goes on, especially through the counter attack. With both teams already eliminated from contention, there is less pressure on their respective shoulders which could lead to a more open contest. With that in mind, backing over 4.5 goals may turn out to be worthwhile.
