Ireland vs Malaysia prediction
Whilst Ireland managed to record a victory in the first round of pool play, it wasn’t enough to take them through to the second round. They bounced back from a loss against Australia to overcome South Africa 4-1 with a superb offensively performance. However, Spain proved too strong in their last game, winning 3-1 to subject the Irish to this classification round.
Malaysia couldn’t handle their opponents defensively in round one, giving up at least three goals in each of their three matches and 13 overall. Against an Ireland side who have impressed from an attacking point of view, scoring at least once in all their games, this is expected to prove the difference.
