Iga Swiatek vs Elina Svitolina prediction

Iga Swiatek has her sights firmly set on a fourth Rome title after dismantling Jessica Pegula to reach yet another final.

The Pole made a mockery of the American’s incredible form and consistency with a swashbuckling 6-1 6-2 triumph in just over an hour. 

Swiatek will now meet two-time champion Elina Svitolina in the showdown for the winner’s trophy after the Ukrainian upset world number two, Elena Rybakina by a 2-6 6-4 6-4 scoreline.

Swiatek leads the head-to-head 4-2, although Svitolina did win their most recent clash 6-2 4-6 6-4 at Indian Wells this year.

However, Iga has won both matches on clay in straight sets, prevailing 6-1 7-5 at the 2025 French Open and 6-2 7-5 when they faced off in Rome back in 2021.

Elina has been magnificent so far this season, but Swiatek is producing tennis befitting her Clay Queen nickname right now and if she reproduces that again here, the Pole will be too strong.
