The final race of day one of the 2022 Cheltenham Festival will see just seven horses make up the field. Stattler and Vanillier are both fairly consistent types but that is definitely a good way to describe Run Wild Fred. Ever since he has been fitted with blinkers, he has finished in the top two of all six races since. He has only managed to win one of those but with Gordon Elliott and Jamie Codd each winning three of the last seven runnings of this race, he has to be fancied having recorded a second in a Grade 1 contest last time out at Leopardstown.
