Forced off through injury at the back end of their play-off final defeat of Italy to qualify for FIFA World Cup 2026, former Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac will again be a key man for the Bosnians this summer. The versatile left-sider, now of Atalanta, has still played at wing-back on occasion for the Bergamasci but, especially with the absence of Nidal Celik due to injury, his experience and defensive know-how will be essential for Bosnia and Herzegovina in their back three, alongside Tarek Muharemovic and Nikola Katic.
