Alongside the more experienced Aymen Hussein in the final third, Iraq will be reliant on Ali Al Hamadi for quality in attack. Having come through at Wycombe Wanderers and endured an underwhelming loan stint at Bromley, Al Hamadi became a highly-rated striker in the EFL at AFC Wimbledon, scoring 23 goals in 42 games before joining Ipswich Town and helping them achieve Premier League promotion in 2024. He has since spent time out on loan at Stoke City and Luton Town, struggling for them, but maintaining a decent scoring rate for Iraq.
