THE PREDICTION
RB Leipzig will hope their Bundesliga form can be carried forward into Europe as they host Atalanta in the first leg of what should be a superb quarter-final tie. The Germans were stunning 1-4 victors on the road against Borussia Dortmund at the weekend and are now unbeaten in their last seven league games with five of those ending in victory. On the other hand, Atalanta have won just two of their last ten Serie A outings with Napoli getting the better of them at the weekend. The managed just one win in a disappointing Champions League campaign while Leipzig earned an eye-catching win over Manchester City, although it was not enough to remain in the competition. That said, the hosts’ recent form is difficult to ignore and they have to be favoured to avoid defeat in this one.
