THE PREDICTION
Recent domestic results have seen Real Madrid tail off in the race for the La Liga title but that probably makes them even more of a dangerous opponent here as they aim to defend their European crown. Chelsea’s task then, looks like an uphill battle, especially given their latest struggles which recently resulted in Graham Potter losing his job. Interim boss Frank Lampard has hardly had the best start and he hasn’t had an awful lot of time to prepare for this match, so a Real Madrid win looks highly likely in this first leg.
