THE PREDICTION

Villarreal have already completed one giant-killing in the Champions League knockout stages when they eliminated Juventus in the round of 16, and they are now halfway to doing the same here after clinching the first leg 1-0 in Spain. Bayern are a different proposition at home in this competition though, having scored a staggering 20 goals across their four games at the Allianz Arena in the current European campaign. Villarreal were able to withstand the pressure in the first leg, but doing so twice in a row seems unlikely and the German side should put in a much more clinical display here. For extra value, consider backing the hosts to be winning at both half-time and full-time in the double result market.
