THE PREDICTION
Uganda come into this on the back of a 3-1 defeat against Bahrain at the end of January. Those back-to-back losses came after a 3-2 win against Moldova in mid-January. Uganda failed to qualify for AFCON after a disappointing qualification campaign for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in 2021. They now come up against a Tajikistan side that come into this on the back of a fairly impressive AFC second round in FIFA World Cup qualification in 2021 but they did suffer a defeat to Kazakhstan in mid-November. Given Uganda’s fairly entertaining form, both teams scoring would look a good bet for this one.
