THE PREDICTION
Liberia come into this on the back of being thrashed 4-0 by Benin the other day to kick off their 2022. The Liberians haven’t played since they were eliminated in the second round of CAF’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification last Autumn. They have won just two of their last eight matches and both of those victories have come against the Central African Republic. They now come up against a Sierra Leone side that impressed in their debut AFCON tournament at the start of the year but, with a much-changed side, they were hammered 3-0 by Togo the other day. Sierra Leone remain the favourites for this one but it is expected to be a low-scoring encounter.
