Under the management of Lionel Scaloni, Argentina have been extremely impressive since their struggle to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and then abysmal showing at the tournament. With Lionel Messi in fine form, the Argentinians will be heading to Qatar expecting to challenge for their third World Cup. They face a Honduras side that come into this on the back of a decline in recent years and poor showing on CONCACAF’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign. Their most recent outing, though, was a hard-fought and fairly impressive 2-1 win against, admittedly, ten-man Canada. Argentina should win this one very comfortably.
