THE PREDICTION

These two, as expected, are two of the strongest sides in the competition and will hope to challenge for the trophy in Georgia and Romania. France, under the management of Sylvain Ripoll, have a strong squad throughout the positions with Ilan Meslier behind a likely defensive partnership of Pierre Kalulu and Loic Bade, Khephren Thuram and Manu Kone in midfield alongside the likes of Maxence Caqueret, Enzo Le Fee and Michael Olise with Amine Gouiri and Rayan Cherki in attack. The Italians have won this trophy five times but haven’t managed to lift it since 2004. The likes of Sandro Tonali and Willy Gnonto are the stars in the young Italian squad.
