THE PREDICTION

Schalke 04 managed a draw with Werder Bremen last weekend following three defeats on the spin but they desperately need wins if they are to stand any chance of survival. Against second-placed RB Leipzig, that will be a tall order. Leipzig have won the last two meetings between the sides by an aggregate score of 9-0, and Schalke have been whipping boys for many of the Bundesliga’s top teams this season. Leipzig recorded another big win in the cup in midweek and the hosts cannot afford to be too defensive as they need points, which could open up opportunities for Julian Nagelsmann’s men. A Leipzig win combined with Over 2.5 Goals therefore looks a good option for this one.
