THE PREDICTION
Clashes between these two local rivals are always big games but both sides could really do with the three points here for different reasons. Cellar-dwellers Schalke 04 remain nine points from safety after a goalless draw at Union Berlin last Saturday, and they still have just the one Bundesliga win to their name this season. Borussia Dortmund are languishing in sixth place, six points from the top four, having won just one of their last five league outings. They did get a confidence boost in midweek, though, winning 3-2 at Sevilla in the Champions League, where goal machine Erling Haaland was once again on the scoresheet. The Norwegian has scored a whopping 25 goals in 24 games in all competitions this season, and against a team who have shipped 52 in 21 league matches, he has to be fancied to add to his tally.
