THE PREDICTION

Borussia Monchengladbach have won just one of the nine previous meetings between these two sides, although that was the most recent one. The circumstances appear to be in RB Leipzig’s favour for this one. Julian Nagelsmann’s side boast the best home record in the Bundesliga this term, having dropped just five points at the Red Bull Arena. They have also had all week to prepare, whereas the visitors had a tough Champions League match against Manchester City in Budapest on Wednesday, where a number of key players picked up knocks that leave them doubtful for the weekend. The Foals are without a win in four league games and have only won one of their last seven on the road, so all in all, a home win looks the most likely outcome of this encounter.
