THE PREDICTION

After drawing 0-0 at basement boys Schalke last Friday, Mainz have another good opportunity to climb out of the bottom two this weekend. The 05ers have won two of their last three games at home having previously not won at all at the OPEL ARENA this season, and overall their results have been much-improved since Bo Svensson took charge in January, with just two defeats in their last seven league games. Freiburg have been inconsistent of late, particularly on their travels, and although they are still in with a shout of a European place, there is less pressure on them than on the hosts. Mainz won 3-1 in the reverse fixture and should be considered for Draw No Bet.
