THE PREDICTION

This is a meeting between two sides who could really do with a win and two coaches who are under fire. Koln are still smarting from a 5-0 drubbing at Freiburg last Saturday which saw them drop into the relegation play-off spot, but it is at home where their form has been most concerning. The Billy Goats are without a league win at the RheinEnergieStadion since February of last year, collecting just two points from eight home games this season. Hertha currently find themselves in 12th place, below where they would have hoped to be following a summer of big spending. The meetings between these two last season produced big wins for the away team but bearing in mind that Koln have failed to score for four games running, a low-scoring affair is on the cards this time with both sides struggling for confidence.
