THE PREDICTION

Freiburg are top of the Bundesliga form table from the last six rounds of matches, taking 14 points from a possible 18 - a run that has seen them move away from danger and within reach of the Europa League places. Christian Streich’s charges have also scored at least two goals in each of the last five, conceding only four goals at the other end. They welcome a Koln side who have gone over 300 minutes without finding the net in the league, and who have averaged less than a goal per game this season. Only two teams have scored fewer goals than the Billy Goats, who continue to play without a recognised striker in the absence of the injured Sebastian Andersson. Given the respective situations of the two teams, a Freiburg Win to Nil could be a smart move here.
