THE PREDICTION
Borussia Monchengladbach are one of only two teams in the Bundesliga still unbeaten in 2021 having picked up four wins and two draws since the turn of the year. Marco Rose’s men were also 2-1 winners at Stuttgart in the cup on Wednesday, and going further back they have lost just one of their last 12 league matches on home soil. Two wins in their last three league games have boosted Koln’s survival chances but it remains tight around that relegation play-off place. They were also in cup action in midweek, losing on penalties to Bundesliga 2 side Jahn Regensburg. The Billy Goats have only managed one victory against a team in the top half of the table this season so Gladbach, with the form they are in, should prove too strong and claim the bragging rights in this local derby.
