THE PREDICTION
Back-to-back defeats - their first in the Bundesliga since May 2018 - have left Borussia Dortmund outside the top six and 13 points behind leaders Bayern. Edin Terzic’s men have also recorded just one clean sheet in their last 12 league matches. They do at least have attacking stars Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho in top form, with the latter setting up the former for both goals in the 4-2 defeat at Borussia Monchengladbach last Friday. The pair are sure to keep the Augsburg defence busy, but the visitors will take heart from their 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture as well as last weekend’s win over Union Berlin. The Bavarians actually have a respectable record against Dortmund, and have not failed to score against them in a league meeting since August 2013, so Both Teams To Score looks the best bet for this one.
