Bayern Munich bounced back from their 2-1 defeat at high-flying Eintracht Frankfurt with an impressive 4-1 victory at Lazio in the Champions League in midweek. The champions have not suffered back-to-back defeats in the league since December 2019 and they are not likely to now, although Koln have produced some impressive performances away from home against the top sides in recent months. The Billy Goats have picked up 15 of their 21 points on the road this season, including wins at Borussia Monchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund and a draw at RB Leipzig, although it is almost exactly 12 years since they last won in Munich. Bayern have been fallible at the back lately and have not kept a clean sheet at home in the league since October, so a home win but with both teams to score looks good value here.
