THE PREDICTION

Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund are level on points in third and fourth place respectively going into this tasty-looking clash on Tuesday night. Both sides had disappointing results at the weekend, as Leverkusen’s faltering form continued with a 1-0 defeat at Union Berlin while Dortmund were held to a 1-1 draw at home to strugglers Mainz. There were seven goals in this fixture last February and the meetings between the two sides do tend to be largely high-scoring affairs, with six of the last seven in the top flight producing four or more goals. The visitors are the joint second-highest scorers in the Bundesliga having averaged exactly two goals per game, with Bayer just two behind them, so it promises to be another entertaining clash involving these two and therefore Over 3.5 Goals has to be considered.
