THE PREDICTION

A 2-0 win at home to Kaiserslautern last weekend has continued Magdeburg’s improved run of form. The home team have now enjoyed three wins in their last four matches as they try and move into the middle-of-the-table. They now face a Paderborn side that are chasing the top three and potential promotion into the Bundesliga but the visitors have collected just a point in their last two games. They remain favourites for this but, given the form as well as being away, a double chance bet in favour of Paderborn seems a lot more sensible.
