THE PREDICTION

Sandhausen threw away a 2-0 half-time lead at home to Karlsruher SC last Saturday, slipping to a third defeat in four games, which ultimately cost coach Michael Schiele his job. The club will be hoping their new interim duo can initiate a change of fortunes as they look to climb out of the bottom three, and an away win would be particularly welcome as Sandhausen have managed just one league victory on the road this season, losing all their other games. However, that will be a big ask against Paderborn, who have won five and only lost one of their last eight Bundesliga 2 matches at home. The hosts have collected a decent points haul from a tough run of fixtures lately and should win this one against struggling opponents.
