THE PREDICTION
Bochum’s charge has been somewhat halted in the last week, with a 2-1 defeat at home to Karlsruher SC last Sunday followed by a 4-0 drubbing at RB Leipzig in the cup on Wednesday. Their full focus now will be on their promotion push and they are still second in the table going into this one, having gone six games unbeaten before last weekend. Nothing less than three points will do against struggling Osnabruck, who have lost eight of their last nine games in all competitions, including five on the spin in the league. At home, they have not picked up any points since October. They managed to hold Bochum to a goalless draw in the reverse fixture but Thomas Reis’ men have to be fancied to return to winning ways and claim all three points this time.
