THE PREDICTION

Nurnberg suffered their heaviest defeat of the season so far on Sunday, going down 5-2 at home to Hannover 96. It was their fourth loss in their last six Bundesliga 2 games, albeit their first at home since November. Jahn Regensburg are also looking over their shoulders following three defeats in four matches since the turn of the year. The first two came against the top two, but coach Mersad Selimbegovic will have been hugely disappointed by Sunday’s 2-0 reverse at struggling St. Pauli. The last four meetings between these two sides have all ended in draws, and with the pair level on points and struggling for wins at the moment, there may well be nothing to separate them on Wednesday either.
