THE PREDICTION

Jahn Regensburg have not played for almost three weeks, with their last three fixtures all being postponed after the entire squad was placed in quarantine. Mersad Selimbegovic’s side had been in decent form before their enforced break, with just one loss in their last seven games in all competitions. However, they are up against the second-best away team in the division in Greuther Furth, who have lost just once on their travels this season. They did suffer their first defeat in eight league games at the weekend against promotion rivals Bochum, but they have yet to suffer back-to-back losses this term and will be motivated to get back into the top three with a win here. Given that there might be a bit of ring rust in the Regensburg camp, Furth have to be fancied to claim the three points.
