THE PREDICTION
Holstein Kiel’s five-match unbeaten run in the league ended with a 2-1 defeat at Greuther Furth on Monday, which saw them drop out of the top four. They were helped by Saturday’s opponents Erzgebirge Aue, though, who beat fellow promotion hopefuls Bochum. The visitors will not want to do Kiel any favours here as they look to improve on their recent away form, which reads four defeats in the last five and just two goals scored. Kiel do have the distraction of a DFB Cup quarter-final next week but they have not suffered back-to-back defeats as yet this season. Ole Werner’s side have also scored the first goal in five of their last six league games and given Aue’s recent struggles on the road, Kiel are worth backing for Team To Score First as an alternative to the result markets.
