Heidenheim have slipped from sixth to tenth in the table in recent weeks having won just one of their last four games. However, they are still unbeaten at home in the league going all the way back to October 2019, winning four of their last five games at the Voith-Arena. Darmstadt 98 make the trip to Baden-Wurttemberg looking to avoid a third straight defeat, with Markus Anfang’s side too close to the bottom three for comfort at the moment. They have also lost three of their last four on the road, and are without injured top scorer Serdar Dursun - who has been linked with a January transfer - for this one. So, it is hard to look beyond a Heidenheim win here given the hosts’ formidable record on home turf.
