THE PREDICTION

The first half of Erzgebirge Aue’s campaign has been marked by inconsistency. After two successive defeats, Dirk Schuster’s side edged out Osnabruck 1-0 on Friday to keep them sitting comfortably in ninth place in the table. They have only managed back-to-back wins once this season, although they have fared well against the teams near the bottom, collecting 13 points from their five fixtures against the current bottom five. That includes a 3-0 victory at Wurzburger Kickers in the season opener and given that the basement boys have lost seven of their eight away league games, Aue are the team to back as winners here.
