THE PREDICTION

Erzgebirge Aue went down 2-1 at Paderborn last weekend but they have not suffered back-to-back defeats in the league since October. They have been pretty strong at home this season, too, winning four and losing just one of their seven league matches at the Erzgebirgsstadion. Now they are up against one of the form sides in the division in Fortuna Dusseldorf, whose five-match winning run ended with a goalless draw at Eintracht Braunschweig on Monday night. That was their first 0-0 of the campaign, with 10 of their 15 matches producing at least three goals. Likewise, the majority of Aue’s fixtures have produced over 2.5 goals, so that could be the best bet here with the result a tight one to call.
