THE PREDICTION
Osnabruck suffered their sixth consecutive defeat at home to Bochum last Saturday and were grateful to the three teams below them also losing their games. Marco Grote’s side are in freefall and on top of that, they make the long trip to Darmstadt with a depleted squad. Darmstadt 98 are level on points and in only marginally better form. The Lilies’ goalscoring rate has also dropped in recent weeks, with top scorer Serdar Dursun now eight games without a goal following transfer speculation in January. The visitors, meanwhile, have found the net just once in their last five outings, so this has the makings of a scrappy and low-scoring affair between two struggling sides.
