THE PREDICTION

Bochum climbed up to second in the table with a 2-0 victory at Jahn Regensburg last Sunday, their third consecutive win in the league. It was also the fourth time in seven games that Thomas Reis’ side have kept a clean sheet, and their seventh overall this season. Only Holstein Kiel boast a better defensive record in Bundesliga 2. Visitors Nurnberg managed to hold leaders Hamburger SV to a 1-1 draw last time out, but inconsistency has been the theme of their campaign so far. Away from home, Der Club have lost their last two without scoring. They have also only won one of their 14 meetings with Bochum in the second tier, so another win and clean sheet for the hosts is a distinct possibility.
