THE PREDICTION

Both of these sides finished the year on a high, with Bochum knocking Bundesliga side Mainz 05 out of the DFB Cup and Darmstadt 98 winning their last three games in league and cup. Bochum are strong at home, winning four of their last five Bundesliga 2 games at the Ruhrstadion and doing so by handsome margins. The visitors have been inconsistent but entertaining on the road this season - their seven away league matches have produced a total of 31 goals, 16 of them for Darmstadt and 15 against. In fact, only Hamburger SV have netted more times than the Lilies this term, while Bochum have scored just one less, so Over 2.5 Goals looks the market to go for.
