THE PREDICTION

Both these sides come into this match with injury problems, but whilst Norwich’s are starting to slowly but surely clear up, Reading’s injury list is growing by the match and has been exacerbated with the news that both Yakou Meite and Lucas Joao will be absent for the rest of the year. The two attackers have been Reading’s biggest two sources of goals this season and their absence could prove the difference in this match. With the Royals at risk of firing blanks up front, Norwich can not only call upon perennial Championship goalscorer Teemu Pukki upfront, but also striker Jordan Hugill following his return to the squad following injury. That extra firepower should lead Norwich to victory here and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Daniel Farke’s side also keep a clean sheet, with Reading’s options so depleted offensively.
